BIG NEWS. 7:30 p.m. | BTN • Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields completed 28-of-34 passes for 318 yards and four touchdowns All times Eastern while directing an Ohio State offense that finished with 526 total yards to defeat Penn State on Saturday. It was the sixth time in his 16-game Ohio State career that Fields has thrown four touchdown passes in a contest. The junior’s first seven passes were all completions, giving him 16 consecutive completions over two games to tie the school record set by J.T. Barrett in 2016. Michigan State 27, Michigan 24 • Maryland quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa became the third Big Ten player in the last 20 seasons to notch Northwestern 21, Iowa 20 350 passing yards, three passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns in a single game as Maryland Indiana 37, Rutgers 21 defeated Minnesota in overtime on Saturday. The sophomore completed 26-of-35 passes for 394 yards, Ohio State 38, Penn State 25 the 10th most single-game passing yards in school history and the most since Danny O’Brien passed for 417 yards against N.C. State in 2010. Tagovailoa added 59 rushing yards, including a 39-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
