RAMS TO FACE ATLANTA FALCONS AT HOME ON SAT., JAN. 6 LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Rams will host the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday, Jan. 6 at 5:15 p.m. (Pacific Time) as part of the NFC Wild Card Round, the NFL announced today. The game will be televised on NBC and will take place at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, marking the Rams’ first playoff game at the stadium since Jan. 7, 1979 in an NFC Championship game vs. the Dallas Cowboys. In total, the Rams own an 11-7 home postseason record (19-24 overall record). The Rams’ 2018 Wild Card game marks the 28 th time that the team has made the postseason and the first time that the club has appeared in playoff action since 2005. That year, the Rams defeated the Seahawks, 27-20, on Jan. 8 in the Wild Card Round before falling to the Atlanta Falcons, 47-17, on Jan. 15 in the Divisional Round. Saturday’s matchup will be the Rams’ second home Wild Card game in team history . The franchise last hosted a Wild Card game on Dec. 23, 1984 at Anaheim Stadium (vs. NYG, L 16-13).
