All rights reserved. Content 1 Support Package 08 New features, performance improvements, behavior changes, and user interface changes were introduced in SAP® IQ 16.0 SP08. If you are updating from an earlier release or support package, you must run the ALTER DATABASE UPGRADE command. In this section: PAM User Authentication (New) [page 6] Pluggable Authentication Module (PAM) support lets you write programs that rely on authentication independently of the underlying authentication scheme. Point-in-Time Recovery (New) [page 7] Point-in-time recovery restores all committed database operations to a specified point in time. A point in time can be expressed as a timestamp and timezone, or as a log offset. This feature is available for new SAP IQ 16.0 SP08 databases and databases upgraded to 16.0 SP08. In-Memory Row-Level Versioning on Multiplex (New) [page 12] In-memory row-level versioning (RLV) is now supported in multiplex. SAP IQ Cockpit (New) [page 13] SAP IQ Cockpit is a new graphical administration tool for on-board management and monitoring of SAP IQ. SAP IQ Cockpit will replace SAP Control Center in a future support package.
