YULETIDE TOUR We invite you to see the snow in winter time and enjoy some Christmas in Winter Festivities. The Itinerary follows the same route as in the coloured brochure for The Snowy Mountains Tour 1. Your first sight of snow will be on Monday when you visit Cabramurra (Australia’s highest township) and the goldfields of Kiandra and Happy Valley. Tuesday’s we travel to Nimmitabel, Brown Mountain , to the picturesque Bega Valley and its famous Cheese Factory. We then head for the coastal town of Tathra and continue on to the Grevillea Winery for wine tasting. Wednesday you will experience the township of Cooma, including the Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Authority exhibition and a and film, take a ride on the historical quaint Cooma rail motor car town tour of National Trust buildings in famous Lambie Street. Thursday, highlights include beautiful Lake Jindabyne and the unique Thredbo Alpine Village bustling with skiers, snow-boarders, tobogganers - a broad demographic enjoying the crisp air and to Blue beautiful snowy landscape to its full. We then travel on the Skitube from Bullocks Flat Cow where, you will be able to play in the snow throw a few snow-balls at your travel companions, or simply enjoy the stunning view of the top of the Alps from the warm restaurant while watching the skiers glide down the mountains. On a clear day you will see Mt Kosciuszko and Charlotte Pass. Friday we commence our journey home. In Canberra we see Parliament House, Lake Burley Griffin and several embassies then board the Xplorer for a pleasant journey back to Sydney.
