ARGYLL AND BUTE COUNCIL (A846 PORT ASKAIG TO ARDBEG ROAD) (LAGAVULIN, ISLE OF ISLAY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2018 Argyll and Bute Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and being of the opinion that it is desirable because of public safety and convenience, hereby make the following order: 1. This Order may be cited as the “Argyll and Bute Council (A846 Port Askaig to Ardbeg Road) (Lagavulin, Isle of Islay) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2018” and shall be in operation when indicated by signs between 2000 hours on the Twenty Fifth day of May and 2000 hours on the Twenty Sixth day of May Two Thousand and Eighteen. 2. Subject to Article 3 of this Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait at any time on the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Order. 3. Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle that is: a) being driven upon the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform; b) being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes. Given under the Seal of Argyll and Bute Council and signed for them and on their behalf by Charles Reppke, Head of Governance and Law at Lochgilphead on Monday the Thirtieth day of April, Two Thousand and Eighteen.
