THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, IN THE BOROUGH OF CHARNWOOD) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2017(VARIOUS ROADS IN CHARNWOOD) (AMENDMENT 14) ORDER 201 THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be: 1. To remove the existing restriction of No Waiting at Any Time on parts of Sileby Road, Barrow upon Soar 2. To remove the existing restriction of No Waiting Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm on parts of Mountsorrel Lane, Sileby, Central Avenue and The Half Croft, Syston 3. To remove the existing restriction of No Waiting Monday – Saturday 8am – 6pm on parts of Paget Avenue, Stonehill Avenue and The Meadow, Birstall, Leicester Road and Loughborough Road, Mountsorrel, Leicester Road, Quorn, Anthony Street, Fowke Street, and Mountsorrel Lane, Rothley, Broad Street, Broadway and St Peters Street, Syston, Melton Road, Thurmaston, East Road, Far Street, The Stockwell and Wysall Lane, Wymeswold 4. To remove the existing restriction Limited Waiting 1 hour no return for 1 hour Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm on parts of Leicester Road, Quorn 5. To impose Limited 1 hour no return for 1 hour Monday – Saturday 8am – 6pm on parts of Leicester Road, Quorn 6. To impose No Waiting Monday- Friday 8am – 6pm on parts of Sileby Road, Barrow upon Soar 7. To impose No Waiting at Any Time on parts of Bentley Road, Loughborough Road, Paget Avenue, Stonehill Avenue, Sycamore Road and The Mead Way, Birstall, Leicester Road, Mountsorrel, Anthony Street, Fowke Street,Mountsorrel Lane and The Roods, Rothley,Broadway, Central Avenue, St Peters Street and The Half Croft, Syston, Church Lane, Hadrian Road, and Melton Road, Thurmaston,East Road, Far Street, Woodlands Close, and Wysall Lane, Wymeswold A copy of the proposed Order, together with plans illustrating the proposals and an explanatory statement giving the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at my offices, Room 200, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA , at the offices of Charnwood Borough Council, Southfield Road, Loughborough LE11 2TX and on the Notice Board of the appropriate Parish Council.
