ROB TENYER -- first season as head coach -- 13th season at Morehead State 0-2 (.000) record as head coach -- 67-69 (.492) as assistant coach at MSU Rob Tenyer was named the 14th head football coach in Morehead State history on Dec. 13, 2012. He had previously served as an assistant coach at MSU for 12 seasons. Tenyer served as Morehead State’s offensive coordinator in 2011 and 2012 after four seasons as recruiting coordinator. He coached running backs all 12 years as an assistant coach, in addition to stints as receivers coach, strength & conditioning coordinator and equipment coordinator. Tenyer has 15 years of collegiate recruiting experience, including 12 at the Division I level. He was also the football staff’s academic liaison in 2011 and 2012, where he annually monitored and assisted 100+ student-athletes in their pursuit of degrees at Morehead State. In Tenyer’s two years as a coordinator, the Eagle offense set 29 school records. He also worked with MSU’s special teams, where seven university standards were established in 2012. The Morehead State offense paced the Pioneer Football League in five statistical categories in 2011 and six in 2012.
