Jardinella tumorosa Ponder, 1991 Diagnostic features This is one of three riverine species found in northeast Australia that have similar shell morphology. This one differs from J. thaanumi in having a swollen bursal duct and consistently open umbilicus, and from J. tullyensis in having rounded shoulders.
