The report covers the activities for the period April 01, 2013, to March 31, 2014. This is IFHE’s fifth full academic year of operations after it was declared as a Deemed-to-be-University in December 2008. I am glad to inform you that the Business School of the University has been consistently ranked amongst the top twelve in India by Business India. It is one of the first three from South Asia to get the SAQS (South Asian Quality Systems) accreditation by AMDISA (Association of Management Development Institutions of South Asia). It was reaccredited by SAQS for another five years covering the period January 2013 to January 2018. Two of the country’s leading rating agencies, CRISIL (part of Standard & Poor) and ICRA (Part of Moody’s), have rated B- Schools. IBS Hyderabad has received a rating of A** at the national level and A*** at the state level from CRISIL. The grades indicate high academic standards. We received a grading of EB2 IN at the national level and EB2+AP at the state level from ICRA. The grade indicates that the institution has resources and processes that can deliver high quality management education. It has also been rated as an ‘excellent’ business school by Eduniversal, a ranking based on the perceptions of the Deans of 1000 B-Schools all over the world. The cases developed by the University have won several international prizes. The business school has organized six International Conferences, at which more than 371 papers have been presented. One of them was the International Doctoral Theses Conference which was held for the sixth consecutive year and was held in collaboration with Broad College of Business, Michigan State University, East Lansing, USA.
