Take a day for yourself, away from your hectic life, to put words on a page, to begin fragments that turn into the writing you have missed doing. The Oregon Writing Project’s annual writing workshop for K-12 teachers Elizabeth Woody will feature current Oregon Poet Laureate (Navaho, “The power of language in poetry, song, Renée Warm Springs, Wasco, Yakama) in the morning and writer story and legacy has kept Oregon’s Watson in the afternoon. Woody has published poetry, short fiction, communities vibrant.” - ELIZABETH WOODY essays, and is a visual artist. Watson has written children’s books and novels for young adults. Elizabeth Woody Woody’s poetry reflects her close ties Renée Watson with her family, the natural world, and Writer, performer, educator, her people—a group she portrays with and a 1996 graduate of humanity and sympathy.
