2019 Volleyball All-Ohio Athletic Conference Teams and Special Awards As voted by the League Coaches Ohio Northern’s Kate Witte Named OAC Coach-of-the-Year Ohio Northern 29th year Head Coach Kate Witte has been chosen by her colleagues as the 2019 OAC Coach-of-the-Year. Witte led the Polar Bears to a share of the OAC Regular-Season title with an 8-1 record. ONU went on the clinch the programs’ 21st OAC Tournament title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Otterbein’s Tate Eppard Named OAC Sheila Wallace-Kovalchik Player-of-the-Year Otterbein junior middle blocker Tate Eppard (Greenwood Village, Colo. Cherry Creek) has been chosen by the league coaches as the Sheila Wallace-Kovalchik Player-of-the-Year. Eppard has earned first-team honors. Prior to the OAC Tournament, Eppard averaged 3.66 kills-per-set with a .343 hitting percent and 4.3 points-per-set. Otterbein’s Carlie Craycraft Named OAC Freshman-of-the-Year Otterbein freshman setter Carlie Craycraft (Marion, Ohio/Pleasant), Otterbein has been chosen by the league coaches as the OAC Freshman-of-the-Year. She has also earned Second Team All-OAC honors. Prior to the OAC Tournament, Craycraft averaged 11.2 assists and 1.87 digs-per set. Ohio Northern’s McKenna Hostetler Named OAC Witte-Zicha Libero-of-the-Year Ohio Northern senior McKenna Hostetler (Plain City, Ohio / Alder) was selected by the league coaches as the OAC Libero-of-the-Year. She was also selected First Team All-OAC.
