Index for Trustees Minutes Years 1929–1953 Page numbers follow the year range (1929–1953). Some page numbers include (back) to indicate that the page number is used twice, once for the information on the front page and once for the information on the back side of that page. When researching a personal name, it is important to be aware that names were entered as they appear in the material; this means that the same person could appear in multiple ways such as: Bangser, Adolph; or Bangser, Mr. & Mrs. Adolph; or Bangser, Mrs. Adolph. Likewise the same person could be intended by an initial or a full personal name like Schlesinger, M. A. vs. Schlesinger, Max A. For some surnames the only information is either Mr., Mrs., Miss, Dr., etc. Also variant spellings are possible for the same name like Weisl [Weisel]; some are indicated in the index but in other cases if the user does not find the name on the first attempt, further perusal may discover the name by scanning for other possible spellings like Schwartz vs. Schwarz. Alphabetization ignores titles like Mr., Mrs., Cantor, Rabbi, etc. Also there are entries for the years 1954 and 1955 which fall outside the range of the years of these minutes; however, the materials were collated such that some random pages of these years ended up with them and are indexed here. They will also be included again in the full index to those years and indicate the material resides within the years 1929–1953.
