National Honor Society & National Junior Honor Society Golden Torch Award Nomination Form The National Honor Society State Committee established a Golden Torch Award to be presented to a business, industry, or organization that has been a good neighbor by supporting school and other community projects. Since community service is one of the qualities embraced by the National Honor Society, this award affords us an opportunity to highlight a business or organization which embodies SERVICE in word and in deed. Nominations will be accepted until April 1, 2021 (new date) and the award will be presented at the State Leadership Conference at Holy Cross in April. Please limit your nominating letter to one page but provide relevant, specific detail as to your reasons for nomination. The more specific you are, the greater the possibility that your nominee will be selected!
