Wollongong Live Music Taskforce Report 1. Introduction 1.1 Executive Summary In 2013 The Wollongong Live Music Taskforce was established to bring together representatives from the live music sector, Wollongong City Council and Wollongong Police, enabling them to collectively resolve a range of important issues that were considered to have impacted negatively on the local music scene. This report summarises the work of the Taskforce, provides an overview of Wollongong’s live music ecology, and recommends actions for the consideration of Council. In developing their recommendations, the Taskforce has identified areas where Council and law enforcement policy can play a strategic role in optimising live music in Wollongong,
