The conference was attended by Hon. Ma. Josefina Belmonte, Quezon City Mayor, City Administrator Michael Alimurung, Mr. Ricardo Belmonte, Secretary to the Mayor, PBGen. Ronnie Montejo, QCPD Director, Director Rufino Mendoza, Director, NICA, JTF NCR and DILG. On January 24, 2020, Director III JOEL B PLAZA Regional Director of PDEA RO- NCR, together with IA I Berlin Orlanes of Intelligence Division attended conference meeting re Rubita Gracia Murder Case held at the Philippine Cancer Society Bldg., 310 San Rafael Street, Malacanang Complex, City of Manila. The conference was presided by USEC Jose Joel M Sy Egco. On January 28, 2020 Director III JOEL B PLAZA Regional Director of PDEA RO-NCR led the conduct of Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing Program for the clearing and declaration of the forty (40) applicant barangays that are considered as drug affected from the 6 cities throughout Metro Manila on Tuesday, held at the PDEA Main Conference Room, Brgy. Pinyahan, Quezon City. The Regional Oversight Committee are composed of PDEA as Chair, led by RO-NCR Regional Director Joel B. Plaza and co-chaired by members from the other Government Agencies such as the Department of Interior and Local Government-NCR (DILG-NCR) represented by Chief of Staff Abigayle Baligod; Philippine National Police (PNP) represented by PCol Ariel Fulo; Department of Health (DOH) represented by Dr. Jennifer Alejandro; Hon. Gian M. Sotto, Vice-Mayor of Quezon City and Mr. Alfredo Foronda, Executive Director of the QC Anti-Drug Abuse Council (QCADAAC). On January 30, 2020, Director III Irish C Calaguas, Officer-In- Charge, Deputy Director General for Administration together with Director III JOEL B PLAZA, Regional Director of PDEA RO-NCR and Director III Jeena Kinawag of Logistics Management Service (LMS) conducted a meeting and on-site ocular inspection with Ms. Osita A. Mariano, Assistant OIC-Administrator of the Manila Boys Town located at Narra Blvd., Parang, Marikina City. Said visitation and ocular inspection is in relation to the adoption of the Local Government of the City of Manila of PDEA’s Project Sagip Batang Solvent (PSBS). A new reformation facility will be the refuge of the solvent- sniffing kids that will be rescued from the City of Manila. .
