This year, the donation went to the Rogers (Ark.) Public Library for their Bilingual Teens as Teachers and Tutors program. This year’s Distinguished Service Award winner is Henrietta Smith, who has been an ALSC member for twenty-three years and an ALA member for forty-four. Smith is professor emeritus from the University of South Florida.
