Motion Carried. [The August 8, 2016, Board meeting did not have a quorum and no official business could be conducted.] Financial Report Club Secretary-Treasurer David Cowan the circulated a financial spreadsheet. Steve Vassar moved approval of the 1 financial report. Motion Carried. Proposed Realignment of Men’s Division I Hockey – From WCHA to NCHC Kevin Buisman then reviewed issues surrounding the status of the membership application to the NCHC (National Collegiate Hockey Conference). Buisman indicated that the NCHC indicated that the membership application would not be approved at this time but that didn’t mean “no” forever. The NCHC ‘s 2018-19 schedule was very tight. Had it been approved, which it was not, the MSU membership application to the NCHC (National Collegiate Hockey Conference) might have changed the NCHA to look like this: Men’s WCHA Men’s NCHC (Western Collegiate Hockey Association) (National Collegiate Hockey Conference) Existing Members Proposed Existing Members Rumored Adds Minnesota State University 1. Alternate venue sites are being explored. Blue Line Club’s Annual Dan Meyer Memorial Golf Classic – July 25, 2016, Monday, Mankato Golf Club Board members then reviewed the initial financial spreadsheet on the Blue Line Club’s Dan Meyer Memorial Golf Classic held July 25, 2016, at the Mankato Golf Club. Gross receipts may top $77,370 similar to last year’s event outcome. Some of the Blue Line Club’s wearing apparel inventory was used for the silent auction at the event. It included a 1980 Miracle on Ice signed print from Coach Harrington. Wearing Apparel Inventory – Logo Issue Alternate Blue Line Club logos were circulated and the Board agreed to logos for both Club’s clothing lines. Adjournment Eric Bolter moved and Steve Vassar seconded that the meeting be adjourned. Without objection the meeting was then adjourned at 5:02 PM.
