Day 2: Menton - Castellar - Sainte-Agnès, ~2-5 h High mountains rise up just behind Menton. You’ll walk up there through picturesque villages such as Castellar and Sainte-Agnès. Enjoy the beautiful scenery above the sea. Dinner and overnight stay is in a small inn looking out on to the bay of Menton. Day 3: Cime de Baudon, ~5 h From the peak of the Cime de Baudon you enjoy the panoramic view to the bay of Menton and the Cap-Martin, the peaks of the Mercantour, the massif of Esterel and the bay of Saint-Tropez. Overnight stay and dinner in Sainte-Agnès. Day 4: Sainte-Agnès - Roquebrune - Menton, ~5 h Through an original combination of Mediterranean scents and Alpine flora, scrubland and pine forests, you’ll arrive at Gorbio, a perched village in the middle of greenery, and Roquebrune, another small village. Both are not too far from the coastline but are completely different from it! Day 5: Monaco - La Turbie - Beaulieu-sur-Mer, ~4,5 h Incredible views on the way today: nature and the skyscrapers of Monte Carlo. You’ll enjoy visiting the Principality of Monaco and discovering La Turbie, a medieval village. Take the train between Monaco and Beaulieu/Mer (not included in the price). Day 6: Beaulieu-sur-Mer - Villefranche-sur-Mer - Nice, ~5 h A marked path will guide you along the wild coastline of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. You’ll walk along the beach through Villefranche-sur-Mer and reach Nice via the foothills. Fantastic views in natural unspoilt surroundings. The hotel is in the town center making it easy for you to enjoy visiting the town the following day. Day 7: Departure The tour ends just after breakfast.
