Bryan Graves, the son of world renowned and Bluegrass and Country Hall of Famer and innovator of the Dobro "Uncle Josh Graves"! Tim Graves, Bryan's cousin and nephew of "Uncle Josh" have joined forces to pay homage to Uncle Josh with their love and passion of the Bluegrass music that Uncle Josh embedded deep into them! With adding drums, electric bass, piano and electric guitars to the traditional sounds of Bluegrass including the instrumentation of the Dobro, acoustic guitar, fiddle, mandolin and banjo comes the new exciting sounds of their NewGrass! With this unique blend of Bluegrass, Country and Americana they bring to you Nashville's new NewGrass act GRAVES BLOODLINE! GRAVES BLOODLINE was Influenced by: Bryan and Tim have a huge musical Nashville family that all began with Bryan's Dad and Tim's Uncle Josh Graves (September 27, 1927 Tellico Plains, Monroe County, Tennessee – September 30, 2006), born Burkett Howard Graves, was an American bluegrass musician. Also known by the nicknames "Buck," and "Uncle Josh," he is credited with introducing the resonator guitar (commonly known under the trade name of Dobro) into bluegrass music shortly after joining Lester Flatt, Earl Scruggs and the Foggy Mountain Boys in 1955. He was inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor in 1977!
