4 Love Is Patient, Love Is Kind. It Does Not Envy, It Does Not Boast, It Is Not Proud. 5 It Does Not Dishonor Others, It Is

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Patience​: ​the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset. {A form of the moral virtue of fortitude. It enables one to endure present evils without sadness or resentment in conformity with the will of God. Patience is mainly concerned with bearing the evils caused by another. } Kindness​: ​the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. {One of the fruits of the Holy Spirit; the quality of understanding sympathy and concern for those in trouble or need. It is shown in affability of speech, generosity of conduct, and forgiveness of injuries sustained.} Protect​: ​keep safe from harm or injury Trust​: ​firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. Hope​: The confident desire of obtaining a future good that is difficult to attain. It is therefore a desire, which implies seeking and pursuing; some future good that is not yet possessed but wanted, unlike fear that shrinks from a future evil. This future good draws out a person's volition. Hope is confident that what is desired will certainly be attained. It is the opposite of despair. Yet it recognizes that the object wanted is not easily obtained and that it requires effort to overcome whatever obstacles stand in the way. Persevere​: ​continue in a course of action even in the face of difficulty or with little or no prospect of success. a feeling of discontented or resentful longing aroused by someone else's possessions, {​Envy​: ​ qualities, or luck. talk with excessive pride and self-satisfaction about one's achievements, possessions, or Boast​: ​ abilities. having or showing a high or excessively high opinion of oneself or one's importance.} Proud​: ​ .
