PD ACT INVOKED AGAINST SHAIK AMEER S/O SHAIK SALEEM, ROWDY SHEETER OF CHILKALGUDA POLICE STATION, NORTH ZONE, HYDERABAD *** Sri Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City issuedpreventive detention order under the Act No.1 of 1986 against Shaik Ameer s/o Shaik Saleem, aged about 28 years, Occ: Auto Driver, R/o H.No.12-11-357, near L.N. Nagar Chilla, Warasiguda, Chilkalguda, Secunderabad, rowdy sheeter of Chilkalguda Police Stationon 31.12.2020. The detenuShaik Ameer s/o Shaik Saleemhas committed offences of attempt to murder andmurder for gain, in an organized manner, along with his associates, in the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate. Chilkalguda Police made efforts and arrested the detenuShaik Ameer s/o Shaik Saleem on 7.9.2020 in Cr.No.392/2020 of ChilkalgudaPolice Stationand remanded him to judicial custody. The preventive detention order was executed on him on 2.1.2021 andhe was lodged in Central Prison, Chanchalguda, Hyderabad. COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, HYDERABAD CITY. PRESS NOTE ON CASE OF KIDNAPPING – BOWENPALLY P.S. On the night of 05.01.2020 at about 1920 hrs. while the complainant Sri. Katakaneni Manish (22), Law student r/o Krishna Residency, Manovikas Nagar was present in his house along with his family members, 10-15 persons in the age group of 25-40 years, speaking English and Telugu language, wearing plain clothes and one of them was wearing Police Uniform, holding a stick entered in to the house of the complainant by posing themselves as I.T. officials on the plea of conducting raids by showing their ID Cards. Having entered into the house, they searched the entire premises and brought down the inmates from the 1st floor and by showing search warrants in the name of Praveen, Naveen and Sunil, the paternal uncles of the complainant for the purpose of interrogating them, they confined them in the Hall and confined remaining inmates in the bedroom and restrained them from coming out of the room. At about 2020 hrs. his aunt Sarita w/o Sunil, who had been to neighbours house came home and opened the latch of the door and then only they came out of the house and after noticing in the CCTV they found the persons taking away his uncles in three separate vehicles (Innova, Swift Dezire and XUV) and after that they came to a conclusion that the persons were not Govt. officials and they kidnapped his uncles and suspected the involvement of their relatives A.V. Subba Reddy, Smt. Akhila Priya, her husband Bhargava Ram and their henchmen and the reasons for the kidnapping was suspected to be a land dispute. On receipt of the above complaint, a case in Cr. No. 6/2021 u/s 419, 341, 342, 452, 506, 365 IPC r/w 149 IPC has been registered at Bowenpally P.S. and investigation taken up. Special parties have been formed under the leadership of Sri. Kalmeshwar Shingenavar, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, North Zone, and with the assistance of Task Force Officials; the accused Smt. Bhooma Akhila Priya w/o Bhargava Ram (32) r/o Flat No. 6A, 8th Floor, Lodha Apartments, Kukatpally, Hyderabad has been taken into custody. Remaining accused persons are found absconding. Efforts are being made to arrest the absconding accused persons. Investigation made and evidence collected in this case, it is established that there is a land admeasuring about 25 acres in the area of Hafeezpet and in the year 2016 it was purchased by one Praveen, paternal uncle of the complainant. There were some issues on the land, which was mediated by A.V. Subba Reddy with the assistance of Bhooma Nagi Reddy. After the issues got resolved, understanding between Praveen and A.V. Subba Reddy was executed. But, A.V. Subba Reddy did not execute his terms of understanding with Bhooma Nagi Reddy. After the death of Bhooma Nagi Reddy, his daughters Akhila Priya approached Praveen for share in the land. When Praveen stated that he has completed the transaction with A.V. Subba Reddy and requested her to approach him. She started threatening him. In the year 2020 a case has been registered in Miyapur Police Station in Cr.No. 933/2020 u/s 143, 147, 149, 150, 158, 352, 354, 426, 427, 447, 448, 452, 454, 485 r/w 34 IPC against A.V. Subba Reddy and others for trespassing and threatening with dire consequences. Settling for the share in the land Akhila Priya and her husband hatched a conspiracy and kidnapped the victims Praveen, Naveen and Sunil with the assistance of their henchmen. The arrested accused person is being produced in the Honourable Court for judicial remand. Efforts are under progress to arrest the remaining accused persons involved in this case. Justice Hima Kohli, Hon’ble Chief Justice of High Court of Telangana at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad on 07-01-2021 at 11.30 hours, the Raj Bhavan road from Monappa Island (Rajiv Gandhi Statue) to VV Statue Junction will witness heavy traffic. Anjani Kumar, IPS Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad city inaugurated the CCTV control room set up under the sponsorship of Sri Venkateswara Cooperative Housing Building Society at No. 12, Banjara Hills Road, Hyderabad. The event was attended by members of the Housing Society and Sri AR Srinivas, IPS Joint CP West Zone. Later, Sri Anjani Kumar IPS CP Hyderabad told that; 125 community CCTV cameras were set up by the Sri Venkateswara Building Society, with Police assistance. Safety and security are very important in the country. CCTV cameras play a key role in case investigation. Everyone should have CCTV cameras in front of the house. Crime will be under control only if the police and the public meeting. CCTV cameras play a key role in crime control. CCTV cameras should be set up in every society. Hyderabad has safety and security, so big companies are coming to invest. CP Hyderabad thanked all the elders of the colony for installing so many community cameras and asked the other colonists in the city to also install community CCTV cameras. .
