Organisational Structure of the Academy The Board of Governors comprises ex-officio members including Hon. Chief Secretary of the Government of Maharashtra as the Chairperson and nominated members from specific sectors. Director General, YASHADA is the Chairperson of the Executive Committee and a member of the Board of Governors. Subject to the overall supervision and policy directions of the Board of Governors and its Committees, the Executive Committee (EC) is responsible for the management, administration and control of affairs of the institute, and its income and properties, in accordance with the rules of the Society and the regulations, orders and instructions made from time to time. The Director General of the Academy, who is appointed by the State Government, is the Academic Head and Chief Executive of the Academy. He has all the powers as delegated by the Board of Governors and the Executive Committee, and is the Chairman of the Executive Committee. He/she is responsible for the proper administration and conduct of the academic affairs of the Academy.
