The approach used is preferred to that of using single quarters only because the use of four quarter totals removes some of the volatility from the data and thereby presents a more meaningful picture. This approach is also adopted by HMRC, the suppliers of the data. (WAQ62058) Derbyniwyd ateb i’w gyhoeddi ar 05 Chwefror 2013 Answer received for publication on 05 February 2013 The Minister for Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science (Edwina Hart): I met with Akmal Hanuk, Chief Executive of the Islamic Banking & Finance Centre (IBFC) in July last year and discussed with him the development of Sharia-compliant savings and personal loans products, supported by Welsh Government and the All Wales Credit Union Support Programme. My Department will continue to work closely with the Islamic Banking and Finance Centre in Cardiff to assist in the development of financial products and services based on Islamic principles as part of our inward investment focus.
