Members and friends, I am starting this report by advising you that I will be retiring as President at the 2015 Annual General Meeting after some 15 years in the role. During that time there is much we all can be proud of and we have had a wonderful record of success. However, like all institutions we need a fresh injection of blood from time to time. New blood brings innovation, new ideas, new energy and a commitment to ensuring that our club’s success continues. My colleague and head of SURPASS, Angus Stuart, has indicated he is prepared to take on the role and I wholeheartedly endorse his candidature.
