THE CRIMSON 71 Pan-Hellenic (Men) National Inter-fraternity Conference The National Inter-fraternity Confer­ ence, a co-operating but non-legislative as­ sociation of the progressive fraternities of men, was organized in 1909. The Confer­ ence meets annually at New York on the Friday and Saturday following Thanks­ giving, unless the place or date is changed by a majority vote of the officers. It pub­ lishes a Year Book of notable value which preserves in permanent form addresses and reports of great importance to the fraternity system. The purpose of the National Interfra­ ternity Conference is to discuss questions of mutual interest and to present to the member fraternities such recommenda­ tions as the Conference deems wise, it be­ ing understood that the functions of the Conference are purely advisory. The officers of the Conference are a Loman Trover Warren Carr chairman, vice-chairman, secretary, treas­ urer, and an educational adviser elected annually by a majority vote of the mem­ ber fraternities.
