681 Minutes of the Community Council Meeting held on 13th April 2015 at the Community Centre Present:- Councillors Mary Pearce (Chairman), Maria Tofani (Vice- chairman), Emmanuel Kincaid, Eirwen James, Rhodri Evans, Dafydd Lloyd-Jones. Cllr Gwynne Davies. Also present was PCSO John Evans and Solveig Frykman-Lloyd. 1. Apologies:- Councillor Ann Jones, Cllr Wynne Davies and Cllr John Ll Griffiths apologised for their inability to attend. 2. Personal The Councillors congratulated Cllr Rhodri and Mrs Evans and family on the birth of their new son. 3. Declaration of Interest Cllr Maria Tofani declared interest regarding the performances that Solveig Frykman-Lloyd and Coleg Ceredigion will be doing in the village and Soar y Mynydd. 4. Minutes On the proposition of Councillor Emanuel Kincaid and seconded by Cllr Eirwen James the Council authorised the Chairman to sign the minutes of Community Council meeting held on 9th March 2015. 4.(a) Matters arising from the minutes 1. Regarding the defibrillator for the village .It was decided that Cllr Mary Pearce would speak to Dr James and get in touch with NHS Ambulance Service. 2. There has been a few complaints regarding the Street lights being turned off between midnight and five in the morning. 5. Fencing right hand side of Pont Llanio Hill. b. Tree on Pont Llanio Hill. 7.2 Cemetery a. A meeting will be held in the Cemetery on Wednesday 29th April at 7.00 p.m. 7.4 Website a. A website grant was received from Ceredigion. 7.5 Car Park By-laws. a. It was decided that nothing be done at present. 7.6 The Pound Garden The Council will meet on April 29th and tidy up and put the Seat in place. 683 7.7 Standing Orders. Chair will look through the standing orders and decide what is Appropriate for the Council. 7.8 Financial Regulations.. A new budget has been drawn up by Chair and Clerk. 8. Matters from Ceredigion 1. The Council were informed that the road from Soar yMynydd to Tyncornel will be downgraded in the next 2 years. 2. The bus that was left on the road outside Heol y Gorwydd has been removed. 9. Correspondence. 1. A request from Mr Lloyd Jones asking the Council if they could ask Ceredigion County Council regarding getting a sign for Pont Llanio. Cllr Rhodri Evans will look into the matter. 10 Ysgol Henry Richard 3-16 Headship has been appointed. 11 Any other matter 11.1 Solveig Frykman-Lloyd attended our meeting and informed the Council that she will be with Coleg Ceredigion doing walks and performances on sites outside at Soar y Mynydd and The square in Llanrhystud 21-22 May and a meeting will be held on the 29th of April at 5.30 p.m. in the Hall. 11.2 The Council decided to donate £150 00 to LLanddewi Brefi Y.F.C. and £50 00 to Ceredigion Y.F.C. Cllr Rhodri Evans declared his interest. 11.3 The Council decided to donate £50 00 to Ras Gwyl Dewi and also £50 to the P.T.A. Ysgol Henry Richard. 11.4 The Welsh flag needs replacing on the pole. 11.5 Bottle bank is over flowing . Council need to empty it. 684 11.6 Cllr Rhodri Evans has donated his 1% pay rise to all Chapels and Churches in his constituency. 11.7 The Council advertised for Tenders for cutting Cemetery Grass 12 Village Hall & Community Centre trustees Management Committee.
