Passes must be validated within 6 months of issuing date by a railway official in Germany (station’s desk) who also fills in the passport number Unlimited travel on trains operated by Deutsche Bahn (DB) on the national network of Germany, inclusive of Salzburg (Austria) & Basel Bad Bf (Switzerland) except DB Autozug & DB Urlaubsexpress (UEX) Adult Twin: At least 2 people traveling together at all time. Youth: Age 12 - 25 years old included on the first day of travel. Traveler must be provided proof of place of residence / date of birth if buying a German Rail Youth Pass or German Rail Pass with child deduction. A 15% cancellation penalty of fare together with HKD 250 administrative fee per person will be levied for totally unused passes returned within 1 year of issuing date. If reservation is required, a non-refundable ticket issuing fee of HKD 60 per person per sector will be levied on top of the reservation charge. German Rail Passes are not refundable & cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or partially used The pass holder must pay other charges and supplements, in particular, those levied for: Seat reservation (sometimes including services routinely offered and/or compulsory), The use of overnight accommodation, e.g on City Night Line (CNL) trains (reclining seats, sleeperettes, couchettes, berths). With regard to the transport of luggage, holders of German Rail Pass are subject to the same conditions as holders of ordinary tickets. Refundable within a period of one year from the date of issue.
