Area, Chandigarh. 12. 31.05.2016 Apprehension of accused in case FIR No. 143 dated 24.05.16 U/S 408 IPC PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh On 30.5.16 under the supervision of SDPO/East and SHO PS-Ind. Area the staff of police station Ind. Area with its sincere efforts arrested the accused in case FIR No. 143 dated 24.05.16 U/S 408 IPC PS-Ind. Area, Chd. This case was registered on the complaint of a lady resident of Manimajra, Chandigarh that she had given an advertisement on OLX for helper-cum-driver and regarding the same, on 16.5.16 one person namely Rohit Sharma S/o Dalbir Singh R/o H. No. 13052, Vccha Thara Colony, PO Thara Uparla, Tehsil Dhar Kalan, Thara Uparla, Gurdaspur, Punjab contacted her and he was appointed for the job. On 23.5.16, her father-in-law was feeling unwell and she took her father-in-law to Eden Hospital Ph 1 Ind. Area in her Car i20 (No. CH01AZ4416) with the help of her driver/helper Rohit Sharma. When she went inside for the treatment of her father-in-law, her helper/driver Rohit Sharma fled away with her car i20 (No. CH01AZ4416) without her permission and did not return back. During the course of investigation special teams were constituted and with the sincere efforts by the staff of police station Ind. Area under the supervision of SDPO/East and SHO PS-Ind. Area and raids were conducted to nab the accused in Punjab and UP. Under the pressure of raids accused left the car abandoned at Rajpura, Patiala and the same was recovered on 27.5.16. During the investigation it has been revealed that accused had used fake name while obtaining the job of helper cum driver with the complainant and he is also using stolen IDs of one Rohit Sharma S/o Dalbir Singh R/o H. No. 130 S2, Uccha Thara Colony, PO Thara Uparla, Tehsil Dhar Kalan, Thara Uparla, Gurdaspur and his actual name is Bhupinder Singh @ Shyama. Accused also uses various other names i.e. Ankush Malik, Rajveer Chauhan. The IDs of Rohit Sharma was stolen by him from a Gurudwara in Ludhiana in 2014 end. Later on accused Bhupinder Singh @ Shyama S/o Mohan Singh R/o V.P.O. Jandoli Distt. Patiala PB Age 28 years Caste Rajput Chauhan has been arrested on 30.5.16. 13. 06.06.2016 Apprehension of accused in case FIR No. 52, U/S 392, 34 IPC registered in PS-IA, Chd Sh. Uday Kumar Pandey R/o Room No.27, Srai Pala, Chhaje Nagar, Sector-2, Old Delhi alleged that two boys on M/Cycle robbed his purse containing Rs. 2000/- on knife point near Hallo Majra Light Point, Chandigarh.
