FY 2019 Recreational Grant Awards by County Ada County - $ 56,424 • Ada County Parks and Waterways will receive $56,424 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for phase two of the low-profile docks at Spring Shores. Adams County - $ 1,675 • Payette National Forest will receive $1,675 from the Motorbike Fund for the replacement of a snowmobile trailer. Bannock County - $ 749,985 • City of Pocatello will receive $10,000 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for the Cusick Creek Trial project. • Bannock County will receive $749,975 from the Recreational Vehicle Program Fund for the expansion of the Bannock County Event Center RV Park. Bear Lake County - $ 114,755 • Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $14,755 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for a bridge and the reroute of the Midland Trail. • Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation will receive $60,000 from the Recreational Vehicle Program Fund for the replacement of the Bear Lake State Park east beach restroom. • Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation will receive $40,000 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the replacement of a restroom at Bear Lake State Park. Bingham County - $ 78,411 • City of Blackfoot will receive $17,588 from the Recreational Vehicle Program Fund for landscaping at the Blackfoot RV Park. • Bingham County Sheriff’s Office will receive $60,823 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the boat barn extension. Blaine County - $ 117,777 • Sawtooth National Forest will receive $31,364 from the Motorbike Fund for heavy maintenance of the Little Wood motorized trails in the Ketchum Ranger District. • Sawtooth National Forest will receive $53,750 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trail work in the Ketchum Ranger District. • Sawtooth National Forest will receive $19,000 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for heavy trail maintenance of the Little Wood multi-use trails. • Blaine County will receive $13,663 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the boat dock project at Magic Reservoir/Moonstone Landing. Boise County - $ 398,682 • Boise National Forest will receive $21,500 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Program Fund for trail brushing and culverts. • Boise National Forest will receive $164,000 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Program Fund for the replacement of the Deadwood Trail bridge. • Boise National Forest will receive $54,000 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Program Fund for NZ motorized heavy trail maintenance. • Boise National Forest will receive $18,211 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for the Banner Ridge Park and Ski Toilet. • Boise National Forest will receive $86,771 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trail rehabilitation and a bridge at the Crooked River Trail. • Emmett Ranger District will receive $54,200 from the Recreational Vehicle Program Fund to reconstruct the Hardscrabble campground. Bonner County - $ 659,896 • Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $65,380 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Program Fund for N. Gold Creek Trail 111 in the Sandpoint Ranger District. • Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $148,000 from the Road and Bridge Fund for the Auxor Road improvement. • Kaniksu Land Trust will receive $100,000 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for Pine Street Woods acquisition. • Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $41,760 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trail rehabilitation at Sandpoint. • Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $10,100 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for Nordic equipment at Priest Lake. • Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $27,335 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for turnpike reconstruction. • Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation will receive $220,000 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for a groomer replacement. • Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $10,560 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for maintenance at Scotchman Trails. • Bonner County Sheriff’s Office will receive $14,761 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the replacement of the marine three engine. • Bonner County Sheriff’s Office will receive $22,000 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the marine one twin engines. Bonneville County - $ 234,880 • Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $4,550 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Program Fund for a purchase of a motorcycle. • Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $6,900 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Program Fund for the purchase of a snowmobile. • Bonneville County Parks and Recreation will receive $68,482 from the Road and Bridge Fund for the chip seal of the Juniper and Blacktail Roads. • Bonneville County Parks and Recreation will receive $11,246 from the Recreational Vehicle Program Fund for two lawnmowers at the Juniper campground. • Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $6,602 from the Recreational Vehicle Program Fund for the vault toilet concrete platforms. • Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $49,220 from the Recreational Vehicle Program Fund for improvements at McCoy Creek campground. • Bonneville County Parks and Recreation will receive $75,924 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the replacement of the mooring slips at Blacktail. • Bonneville County Parks and Recreation will receive $11,956 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the replacement of work boat motor. Boundary County - $ 119,750 • Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $37,850 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trail reconstruction at Queen Mountain. • Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $40,300 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trail reconstruction of the Bald Eagle Trail. • Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $41,600 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for the reconstruction of the Kootenai River Walk Trail. Camas County - $ 269,300 • Sawtooth National Forest will receive $3,300 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Program Fund for the purchase of an ATV. • Sawtooth National Forest will receive $43,000 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trail repairs and maintenance at Beaver Creek. • Sawtooth National Forest will receive $223,000 from the Recreational Vehicle Program Fund for phase four of the renovation at Baumgartner. Canyon County - $ 28,884 • Canyon County Sheriff’s Office will receive $28,884 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for a new marine tow vehicle. Caribou County - $ 20,870 • Caribou County will receive $20,870 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for the Caribou Trail loop connector. Clark County - $ 70,000 • Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $70,000 from the Recreational Vehicle Program Fund for the replacement of the toilets at the Stoddard Creek campground. Clearwater County - $ 13,200 • Nez Perce – Clearwater National Forest will receive $13,200 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for improved angler access on the Cayuse Trail. Custer County - $ 296,629 • Sawtooth National Forest will receive $43,700 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Program Fund for a bridge at Valley Creek in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. • Salmon-Challis National Forest will receive $15,000 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Program Fund for personnel in the South Zone Trails. • Sawtooth National Forest will receive $67,500 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for the Grand Mogul Trail bridge. • Sawtooth National Forest will receive $38,000 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for maintenance and restoration of the Warm Springs Canyon Trail. • Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation will receive $80,000 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for maintenance of the Central Idaho Trail. • City of Mackay will receive $52,429 from the Recreational Vehicle Program Fund for phase two of the Mackay Tourist Park. Elmore County - $ 17,000 • Elmore County Sheriff’s Office will receive $17,000 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for a boat tow vehicle. Fremont County - $ 627,730 • Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation will receive $19,835 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for the bridge replacement at Thurman Creek. • Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $130,000 from the Recreational Vehicle Program Fund for the replacement of the Buffalo Campground flush toilets. • Bureau of Land Management will receive $45,895 from the Recreational Vehicle Program Fund for picnic shelters at Egin Lake. • Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $350,000 from the Recreational Vehicle Program Fund for the replacement of the access road to the Riverside campground. • Fremont County Parks and Recreation Department will receive $10,000 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the boat dock at Crow’s Land. • Fremont County Sheriff will receive $72,000 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for a patrol boat.
