You are a part of an extraordinary group with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, high intellectual curiosity, and a deep understanding of the power of collaboration. WTIA includes 1,000 member companies, with more than 200,000 employees plus another 200,000 family members of those employees. That community is a powerful political and economic force — a force that can — and arguably must — be mobilized to build a strong technology sector in a thriving community. We have accomplished much in these past few years... • Over 500 small companies (over 15,000 people) get affordable healthcare, 401(k), and/or business insurance thanks to our work. • Over 10,000 hours volunteered by various, unique and disparate industry sectors to develop new methodologies helping teams solve highly complex problems like affordable housing, homelessness, and traffic congestion. • Over 940 people lifted from subsistence level conditions into high-wage careers through our tech apprenticeship program, creating over one billion dollars of income for families who would otherwise have been left behind in our economy. These wonderful outcomes are indeed worth celebrating, but we should not rest on our laurels. There is much work left to be done. Thank you for your commitment to make an extra effort to successfully build together!
