This deviation comes mainly from the MBA candidates, as the male/female ration in leading business schools is around 1 to 3. As for the destination, most awardees go to European and North American universities. One of our challenges is placing more students in Asian countries, where Andalusian companies have interests. Most awardees take Masters programs. Up to 25% of awards have been reserved for MBA candidates since 2009 and the percentage is since then going up. As for the area of study, awards reflect proportions out of Andalusian universities. Since 2009 up to 60% of the awards can be reserved for programs in the areas of science and technology.
