NDA government has been able to complete over 950 km of highways in West Bengal, with over 2250 km highway development in the pipeline. 24 lakh households have been built under PM Awas Yojana, with over 10 lakh households receiving clean drinking water and 89 lakh women having access to clean cooking gas. Our achievements speak for themselves, but we realise that there is still a long way to go. To travel this long way we have reached out to the people of West Bengal and together with them we have created a vision for Sonar Bangla. Under this scheme, girls will receive periodic nancial assistance as follows: • Class 6 - ₹3,000 • Class 9 - ₹5,000 • Class 11 - ₹7,000 • Class 12 - ₹7,000 • Aer aaining the age of 18 years, unmarried girls who have completed education up to Class 12 will be given ₹2 lakhs. 04 We will launch Ghore Lokhi Yojana under which a xed deposit of ₹1 lakh will be given to women from the ST, SC, OBC and economically weaker sections above the age of 18 years at the time of their marriage. 05 We will provide free public transpo for all women. Ebar Women's Safety 01 We will ensure that West Bengal becomes one of the safest state in India for women and crimes against women reduce signicantly in the next 5 years. 02 We will form 9 women-only Police baalions named Shailputri, Brahamacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandmata, Katyayani, Kaalratri, Mahagauri, Shiddhidatri aer Maa Durga. 03 We will form 3 women-only Matangini Hazra baalions under the State Reserve Police Force. 04 We will increase the number of women police stations in every district as per the requirement. 05 We will set up a dedicated desk operated by women ocials in every police station of the state to tackle crimes against women. 06 We will establish all-women Pritilata Waddedar squads in each district to protect females from the menace of eve-teasing. 07 We will establish Mohila Shohayota Centers at each sub-division for rehabilitation and counseling of sexual assault victims. 08 We will establish a Bina Das Mohila Surokkha Task Force with a corpus of ₹100 crores directly under the CMO to tackle the issues of women tracking to help in victim rehabilitation. 09 We will ensure time bound completion of investigation in cases of crimes against women. 10 We will establish fast-track cous at every sub-division to expedite the resolution of cases related to women’s safety and POCSO. 11 We will enact a legislation to sentence perpetrators of heinous crimes such as acid aack, human tracking and forced slavery to capital punishment. 9 01 02 We will provide upto ₹25 lakhs as a rehabilitation package to each of the victims of political violence in West Bengal. 03 We will constitute an SIT to investigate all cases of riots and take strict action against those responsible. 04 We will enact a legislation to check the destruction of public propey during riots, violent protests and unrest, making it a punishable oense. The law will allow for the seizure of propey of those who engage in riots/destruction of public propey to recover the damages. 05 We will request the NIA to investigate all cases of bomb blasts and bomb manufacturing incidents in the state. Ebar Protecting Every Citizen 01 We will establish a Sonar Bangla Aayog to collaborate with the Central Government to facilitate the fast economic development of the state. 02 We will launch the Aspiration Block Programme with special focus on aspirational blocks based on the aspirational district programme of the Central Government. 03 We will ensure all benets and allowances from government services and schemes are deposited into beneciary bank accounts through Direct Benet Transfer only to cut out middlemen, cut money and commissions. 04 We will create a one-stop unied digital poal and app (Jono Shonjog) as a single-window repository to bring the government to the doorstep of the people. 05 We will set up legal clinics at each sub-division to provide free counseling and advice to the marginalized sections of society. 06 We will form a Special Commiee to study the reorganization of the state from the district to the gram panchayat level to facilitate equitable access to resources and schemes. Ebar Police Welfare 01 We will constitute a State Police Modernisation Fund with a corpus of ₹100 crores to provide state-of-the-a armaments to the police stations such as weapons, aillery and training and forensic equipment. 02 We will assist the Central Government in seing up the Narayani Sena Baalion in Paramilitary Forces. 03 We will set up a Paramilitary Training Centre in Cooch Behar in remembrance of the brave Koch warrior Veer Chilla Rai. 04 We will set up a Police College aliated to Rashtriya Raksha University with a specialized disciplinary focus on policing, forensic science, law and telecommunication. 05 We will set up a Police Family Welfare Fund with an annual outlay of ₹100 crores.
