The win marks the 50th consecutive win for the Marauders, which is the fourth longest active streak in the nation. The loss drops the Crimson Crushers to 2-1 on the year. The opening possession of the game was a strong one for the visiting Crushers. McCort marched down the field with relative ease, and on the ninth play of the drive, the Crushers pulled out a trick play. Carnell Andrews found Grant Jeanjaquet on a running back pass for an apparent touchdown, but a penalty negated the score and McCort subsequently turned the ball over on downs. Bishop Guilfoyle wasted little time taking advantage. The Marauders executed a seven play 87 yard drive that was capped off by a Mark Conrad 36 yard scoring strike to Mike Berish. Kolton McGhee's extra point made it 7-0. Bishop McCort's next possession was a quick four and out, and the opportunistic Marauders scored again with ease. Josh Yasulitis found Mark Conrad in the back of the end zone on a 48 yard pass to increase the lead to 13-0. Anthony Walters of Bishop McCort managed to block the extra point to keep it at 13-0 through the first quarter. The second quarter began with a quick Bishop Guilfoyle drive, this time Conrad found Yasuilitis for a 23 yard touchdown. Once again Walters blocked the extra point to keep it a 19-0 margin which held the rest of the game. The Crushers threatened multiple times but did not get into the end zone. It proved to be a frustrating game for the Crushers, as they managed to make it inside the Bishop Guilfoyle 20 yard line on 4 separate occasions, but came away with zero points. Despite the lack of scoring, the Crushers received standout performances by their two senior running backs. Both Anthony Walters and Carnell Andrews rushed for over 100 yards. On defense, the Crushers were led by Josiah Jones' 10 tackles, while Ridge Phillips and Brendon Bair each chipping in 9 stops apiece. PROJECTED lineups OFFENSE: OFFENSE: Pos.
