So he created a full-size model, supported by more than $30,000 in donations from companies hailing from as far away as Australia. Buy one menstrual product, give one to a woman in need. That’s the mission of Aunt Flow, whose Chief Creative Officer, Alexa Hanna (Industrial Design, 2017) helps get menstrual products to those who need them — and also works with businesses to provide tampons and pads free to all. Part One / Art & Design 009 Bloom, a thesis work by Isabel Hickok (Film & Video, 2017) told the story of Rose, an Asian-American woman struggling for self-acceptance in a society that prizes white beauty.
