Cook BORDER PEACE ALLIANCE REACHES OUT TO NATIONAL LEADERS City Council EL PASO, TEXAS –Over one hundred community leaders including local elected officials, civic leaders, faith leaders, business leaders and academics from El District 1 Ann Morgan Lilly Paso, Texas and Las Cruces, New Mexico have signed a seven point “Declaration in Support of Ciudad Juárez and Its Efforts to Reduce The Violence District 2 Susannah M. Byrd Related to Drug Trafficking.” During President Calderon’s visit to the United District 3 States last week, The Border Peace Alliance asked the U.S. government to Emma Acosta reconsider its current strategy as it relates to Mexico and the Drug War violence.
