You'll hear timeless clas- sics from The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, The Monkees, The Mamas and the Papas, and more! The Next Weekend, Events for the Kids and Teens Saturday, June 16th from 10AM to 1:00PM Bring your family and friends for a day fi lled with something for everyone! There will be entertainment, face painting, balloon animals and crafts! Green Meadow Farms Animal Show (10:30AM) Jason Reilly from Green Meadow Farms makes learning about all kinds of creatures FUN... and gives everyone a chance to pet these amazing, live animals! Meet Stickers the Tree Frog, Tickles the Hedgehog, mice, hissing roaches, lizards, toads, bunnies, crabs, and baby animals, too! The National Circus Project (Noon) National Circus Project is a multiple-artist stage extravaganza. Each perfor- mance packs a panoramic presentation of circus skills into a bundle of comedy and variety routines, with lots of audi- ence interaction and participation. Friends of the Gold Coast Public Library Annual Meeting Featuring "Dame Helen Mirren" with Marilyn Carminio Wednesday, June 13th, Supper and Meeting @ 6PM, Program @ 7PM All are welcome to join the Friends of the Library at their evening get-together. You do not need to be a Friends member to attend. It's a wonderful opportunity to get to know the Friends Board and share ideas while enjoying a free light supper and dessert. Join us for any of the evening’s activities. Following the meeting, Marilyn Carminio will present her engaging program highlighting the career and candid personal revelations of actress Helen Mirren from her sensual screen persona to her marriage and children. With a career that began in the turbulent 1960s, Ms. Mirren is now the epitome of a woman aging gracefully. The supper and program are free for all.
