Michael Conrad S. Carandang met with the MMDA officials, headed by its chairman, Brig. Gen. Danilo Lim to discuss on how the chapter can help in some of its major projects for Metro Manila. Some of the notable projects that were discussed are the various beautification projects all over the metropolis, the tree planting activities in 3 major thoroughfares and the planned new MMDA Building and Multipurpose complex in Ortigas Center, Pasig City. The latter will be a design competition for UAP, wherein Makati Chapter in partnership with the MMDA, will be spearheading this endeavor. One of the agenda of the said meeting is about the upcoming CPD-GMM of UAP Makati Chapter featuring the top Filipino Architects who are shaping and Moving the local Architectural Industry to the next level. The preparation for the 40th anniversary of UAP Makati was also discussed.
