Morgan was born on January 26, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He received a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University in 1976, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tulsa in 1979. Morgan served as a municipal judge for the City of Stillwater, a position he held for twelve years from 1984 to 1996. He also worked as an adjunct business law professor at Oklahoma State University. He maintains an active law practice in Stillwater, specializing in commercial transac- tions, litigation, and real property. Morgan won election to the Oklahoma Senate from District 21 in 1996. He continues participation in the Oklahoma and Payne County bar associations. Morgan has one daughter, Abby. His hobbies include golf, running, and spending time with his daughter. Co-President Pro Tempore of the Senate Glenn Coffee Occupation—Businessman/Attorney • Education— Northeastern Oklahoma State University, BA; University of Oklahoma, JD • Party—Republican • District—30 • Legislative Experience—Senate Member, 1999–present • Committee Membership—As Co-President Pro Tempore of the Senate, Glenn serves as an “Ex-Officio Voting Member” of all Senate Committees. Coffee was born on January 20, 1967, in Lubbock, Texas. He received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Northeastern Oklahoma State University, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma. Coffee won election to the Oklahoma Senate from District 30 in 1998. He quickly gained recognition by helping pass legislation protecting the public against sex offenders, abolishing the require- ments for vehicle inspections, and deterring computer spam. Coffee is an attorney with Phillips, McFall, McCaffrey, McVay, and Murrah Law Firm, where he special- izes in business, commercial, and electronic commerce law. He continues active participation in the American, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma County bar associations, Leadership Oklahoma, Leadership OKC Fast Track, and the NSU Alumni Association. Coffee married the former Lisa Lovett. They have four children—Collin, Blaine, Anna, Oklahoma Almanac 97.
