Often, the result is cost savings for the individual or access to added benefits. MMAP certified counselors will be conducting all telephonic counseling sessions to help local residents review their current coverage, compare plan options, answer Medicare questions and provide information about community resources. As always, these sessions will be free, unbiased, confidential, and this year, they are accessible from the comfort of your own home. To prepare, Medicare beneficiaries are asked to gather their Medicare card, a medication list and their questions. After the 30 to 60 minute individualized re- view, a packet of resources and information summarizing the options discussed will be provided to the participant via US mail or email. Our goal is to empower the community with information so you may make informed decisions about your health care and take advantage of any benefits that may be available to you.
