This the first appearance for the two cars at the Brussels Motor Show, which is open to the public from January 10 to the 21. The new two-seat, 570S Spider, on display in Sicilian Yellow – one of three new exterior colours introduced for the launch of the car – is the third body style in McLaren’s Sports Series product family, lining up alongside the 570S Coupé and the 570GT. Combining the dynamic thrills and refinement of the 570S Coupé with the extra exhilaration of open-air driving, the 570S Spider, which is hand-assembled in Woking, England, brings supercar attributes such as carbon-fibre construction, a mid-engined layout and extreme performance to the luxury sports convertible segment for the first time. The starting price for the McLaren 570S Spider in Belgium is €212.425 (incl. 21% VAT). The McLaren 720S, which was introduced in 2017, is the first of 15 new McLaren models and/or derivatives that will be launched by the end of 2022 under the company’s Track22 business plan. A blend of extreme power, handcrafted luxury of the highest quality and unmatched driver involvement, the McLaren 720S is lighter, faster and even more dynamic than the McLaren 650S that it succeeded. Powered by a 4.0-litre, twin- turbocharged V8 engine producing 720PS, the second-generation Super Series McLaren can accelerate from 0-100km/h in only 2.9 seconds, sprint from standstill to 200km/h in 7.8 seconds and has a top speed of 341km/h. In Belgium, the starting price for the McLaren 720S is €251.285 (incl. 21% VAT). Alongside the cars on the McLaren stand will be a special edition, S-Works McLaren Roubaix bicycle, developed by Specialized and McLaren to celebrate the latter’s 50 years of Grand Prix racing. The frame and the forks are made of McLaren’s signature carbon-fibre material and painted in the special ‘heritage colour, “Papaya Orange”, the hue that identified McLaren race cars in the 1960s. Additionally, McLaren Brussels is confirming at the Show that it will offer free maintenance service as per the McLaren maintenance schedule for the first 3 years or 45,000 km, on all newly ordered Sports Series models.
