We are continuing our commitment to the environment by issuing the journal though our website again this year. What has not changed is our deepest appreciation to our many friends and co- workers who have contributed so generously to the success of this very special evening. We are most grateful for your help. Thank you for joining us and we hope that you have a most enjoyable evening. Dinner and Journal Committee It’s an Honor to be Your Chairman Together We Prove Hard Work and Dedication Make Victory Possible Thanks, Rich Dear Friend, Thank you for your participation in the Suffolk County Democratic Committee 2016 Spring Dinner and Journal. Your continued support helps us grow as a party and deliver open, responsive and cost effective government to the residents of Suffolk County. Because of your commitment and generosity, 2015 was an incredible year. We re-elected Steve Bellone to a well-deserved second term as our County Executive and we retained our 12 seat majority in the Suffolk County Legislature, including the election of Bridget Fleming to our caucus. In addition, we enjoyed many victories in town races across the county. We began this year with the re-election of DuWayne Gregory as our Presiding Officer, Rob Calarco as Deputy Presiding Officer and Kara Hahn as Majority Leader of the Legislature, in addition to the election of Julie Lofstad as Southampton Town Councilwoman. The election this November will once again decide the direction in which we take our Country. Not only will we be working tirelessly to make history in the presidential election and win seats in our three Congressional districts, but we will be working hard throughout the year to re-elect Senator Charles Schumer and our four Assemblymembers: Steve Englebright, Kimberly Jean-Pierre, Phil Ramos and Fred Thiele. Our accomplishments are only possible through the hard work and dedication of supporters like you. I am forever grateful for your friendship and support. Thank you!
