Drawing Zoning Site Plans •Larger commercial projects normally involve a Professional Engineer who can provide the necessary site plan as required by Zoning. •For smaller projects that do not involve a Professional Engineer, a Zoning Site Plan may still be drawn professionally by a Registered Land Surveyor. •Projects that don’t require the services of a Professional Engineer or Surveyor can be drawn by the property owner or builder, etc. •Zoning Site Plans are not required to be drawn professionally. They may be drawn by hand using a pencil, scale or ruler and a straight edge (such as a ruler). Scales of 1" = 20', 1" = 40' and 1" = 60' are provided below.
