He is not here, for he has been raised just as he said.” In the name of Father Pancoast, Father Donia, Father Mulranen, the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Deacon Ed and his wife Eileen, Deacon Jim and his wife Pat, Deacon Matt and his wife Lisa and our entire Pastoral team, I wish all of you a blessed and happy Easter. It is a true blessing to be able to celebrate this Easter together and I am very grateful that as many of our parish family as possible can be with us in person. I know that it has been a difficult and challenging year since we celebrated Easter in 2020, yet here we are, together again singing our Alleluia’s and rejoicing that the crucified Jesus has been raised just as He said. Easter is without a doubt my favorite time of year and the reality of being able to celebrate it as a parish family makes this day and this season even better. While there are still many of our community who have not yet returned to in- person worship here at Church, we know that they are always with us in spirit, in prayer and in our thoughts. We miss you and we look forward to the day when we will all be together again. As we gather to celebrate the glorious resurrection of Jesus, we keep in our hearts and in our prayers those who have lost loved ones since we celebrated Easter last year. We give thanks to God for their lives and for the love that we share and we ask God to allow them to rest with Him in glory. Know, my friends, that I am very grateful to all of you for your love and your support and for sticking with us as we make our way through these difficult times. I know that each member of our parish has a great deal to worry about and to do and yet your generosity of spirit and your support of this parish family has been a bright light in the darkness of this pandemic. I will always be thankful and ask God to continue to bless all of us. As we seek Jesus, we give thanks to God who sent Jesus to save us and bring us new life, that my friends is how much we are loved by our God. Enjoy your Easter and know that you and your loved ones are always in our thoughts and prayers. Easter Blessings, Fr.
