The Vandals held the Colonels to just 5% shooting (1-of-20) from beyond the arc on the game, the Nov. 10 at Nevada (RV) L, 64-88 lowest opponent 3-point percentage during the Don Verlin era. Nov. 13 George Fox W, 101-62 • Brayon Blake had a career-night, posting career-highs with 23 points and 14 Nov. 18 Sam Houston State W, 63-54 rebounds for his first double-double against a Division I opponent. Great Alaska Shootout • Nov. 22 vs. Santa Clara W, 69-59 • The Vandals will be playing their first game of the season in the Cowan Spectrum. Nov. 24 vs. CSU Bakersfield L, 62-64 The Idaho facilities staff has been hard at work with the conversion, shifting Nov. 25 vs. Cal Poly W, 75-66 the facility from football to basketball over the weekend. The crew began Dec. 3 at Nicholls State W, 79-68 immediately after football left for its game at Georgia State on Friday, pulling up Dec. 6 Washington State (RV) 7 p.m. the new turf and padding. Tech and lighting work got underway on Sunday, with Dec. 9 at CSU Bakersfield 7 p.m. the Cowan Spectrum floor going down on Monday. Curtains go up on Tuesday, Dec. 15 Simon Fraser 7:30 p.m. and the Cowan Spectrum is complete. In all, the staff estimates 350+ man hours Dec. 18 at Western Michigan 4 p.m. go into a football-to-basketball conversion. Dec. 21 & vs. UC Irvine 6:30 p.m. • The crew will jump back in to tear the facility down after the game, with Dec. 29 *at North Dakota 5 p.m. graduation and the holiday concert taking place in the Dome this weekend. The Dec. 31 *at Northern Colorado 1 p.m. court will then be reconstructed for the doubleheader with the women on Friday, Jan. 4 *Sacramento State 7 p.m. December 15.
