The COVID-19 pandemic has an immense global impact and has claimed many lives. Our condolences go out to the people who have lost loved ones and have suffered due to this pandemic. I also want to thank you all for what you have done to support your communities this year. We have heard about a lot of the important work by SRP grantees to support public health during the COVID-19 pandemic. I am tremendously proud of you. As you can imagine, the Covid-19 pandemic has affected scientific meeting planning everywhere, and the SRP annual meeting is no exception. To protect people’s health, we had to cancel the in-person meeting in College Station, Texas and pivot to a virtual platform. We are very grateful for all the
