To solve information asymmetry that SMEs face in the real business world, we created Alibaba.com; to allow direct access and communications between consumers and businesses and reduce logistics cost, we created Taobao; to ensure integrity in business, we created Alipay; to make data the infrastructure of the new economy, we keep on developing Aliyun; and to lower the logistics cost of the whole society, we are devoted to building Cainiao Logistics Network. In living our mission of “making it easy to do business anywhere”, we are dedicated to integrating technology and business. We have created an open, transparent and sharing ecosystem serving millions of businesses and partners from the countryside of Taobao Villages to the bustling streets in the big cities. In this way, we drove the growth of consumption, accounting for eight percent of China's total retail sales, and transformed economic growth model, and created more than ten million jobs both directly and indirectly.
