I hope you find the dedication, accomplishments and positive energy reflected on these pages inspiring. Our faculty, staff, students, alumni and donors are impressive, as are the partnerships that have been developed between the College and dozens of other local organizations committed to serving our community. This is an especially exciting and important time, as 2017 marks the College’s 60th Anniversary! DCC has evolved tremendously since 1957, when a committed group of local leaders advocated for the establishment of a community college in Dutchess County. I’m confident that our founders’ expectations for the College have been exceeded over the past six decades, as the institution has developed into a vital county resource and one of the most highly regarded community colleges in the State University of New York VISION system.
