Item 5 Country programmes and related matters For the existing text substitute Under this item, the Executive Board will be asked to: (a) take note of the first one- year extensions of the country programmes for Argentina, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Maldives from 1 January to 31 December 2021, and the first six-month extension of the country programme for Armenia from 1 January to 30 June 2021; (b) approve the second one-year extensions of the country programmes for Afghanistan, Guatemala, Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of) from 1 January to 31 December 2021; the second six-month extension of the country programme for Madagascar and the fourth, six- month extension of the country programme for the Syrian Arab Republic from 1 January to 30 June 2021; the second one-year extension of the country programme for Tajikistan from 1 January to 31 December 2022; and the fifth extension of the country programme for Yemen from 1 January to 31 December 2021; and (c) review and approve, in accordance with Executive Board decision 2014/7, the country programme documents for Côte d’Ivoire; China; Somalia, Tunisia; Azerbaijan, Georgia, North Macedonia, Uzbekistan; Mexico, Panama and Uruguay .
