LAST TIME OUT Francesca Pan and Jasmine Carson combined for 33 points against Clemson last Sunday, helping the Jackets escape with Home games in BOLD a 49-47 victory over the Tigers. The win pushed Tech to 4-1 in ACC play for the first time since 2010-11 and marked the ^ - Junkanoo Jam (Bimini, Bahamas) eighth home win of the season for the Jackets. After the Tigers knotted the game at 41-41, Tech forced five Clemson turn- # - Big Ten/ACC Challenge overs, while committing zero, went 3-for-4 from the free throw line and Carson hit a three-pointer to seal the win. BREAKING IN TO THE TOP 10 As senior Francesca Pan continues to climb the all-time three-point career leaderboard, she also broke into the top-10 all-time in career scoring with her 17 point performance against Clemson on Jan. 12. Now with 1,435 career points, Pan is Georgia Tech women’s basketball’s 10th leading scorer in program history. She broke into the top 10, surpassing Janie Mitchell and Kate Brandt who were tied for 10th with 1,422 career points. EARNING A STARTING ROLE Jasmine Carson earned her first start of the season at Florida State and has started two-straight games for the Jackets. As a starter in those two games, Carson led Tech offensively with 18.5 ppg, hit seven three-pointers (38.9 percent overall) and been perfect at the free throw line, going 6-for-6.
