Morris embership in the World Fantasy Convention is lim ited to 750 paid, attending members. Because of this limit, sending in your registration does not Mguarantee membership. The rates are as follows: Attending — $100 Supporting — $40 Info Child (12 or under) — $25 Memberships are transferable with written authorization from the original membership holder. This may be done either in advance by sending the authorization to the WFC P.O. box, or at the convention. Somewhat to our surprise, we have not yet sold out our limit of 750 memberships. A precise statement of the posi tion at the time this report went to press can be found with the membership list, but roughly speaking we have a couple of hundred memberships left. Accordingly, we will continue to accept memberships by mail until 15-Oct-93 (postmark Hospitality deadline, strictly enforced). We will continue to send confir mation cards as we process memberships. If we are not sold out, we will sell memberships at the door. The advantage to you in pre-registering is that the pre-reg istered lines at registration always move much faster than and the at-the-door line. Also, because we pre-print name badges, you'll get a nicer badge than if you register at the door. Finally, we still expect to sell out before the con. Play it safe and pre-register. If you have questions about memberships, please contact: Beth Friedman — 874-7366 ospitality is in Mr. C’s and other rooms on the 22nd floor. We will be open from 6:00 PM Thursday until the end of the convention, and you will be able to find things to eat and drink at any time of the day or night. Membership H We will have bagels, pastries, fruit, and coffee in the morn ing, so stop in before your panel and fortify yourself. There will be a happy hour with mixed drinks from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and there will be hot food available at 7:30. Friday and Sunday nights we will be having a juried music circle. If you are interested in playing, please write to us, ATTN Fred Levy Haskell. (If Fred has never heard you play, please mention someone who has, that he can contact). hild pre-registration is $25.
